Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Proverbs 1:23 KJV

No one naturally likes to be corrected. It is the spiritual man who embraces correction and instruction. To be correctable opens the door to the supernatural wisdom, the mysteries, of God in Christ.

Being ridged and unteachable, stubborn and uncorrectable, cuts you off from the revelation in God’s Word that you need to excel in life.

Our verse today shows us that yielding to the Lord with a teacheable spirit will bring revelation by the Spirit.
Revelation of God’s Word opens the door of your heart to supernatural enablement, prosperity, health,  righteousness, peace, and joy.

No Impossibilities

For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37 KJV

You cannot fail when you walk with God. His Word says you can do all things through Christ which continually strenghens you.

We so limit ourselves if we solely rely on our own human ability and acumen. By design of our Creator, God, we are only living at our maximum potential when united with, and yielded to, Him.

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 KJV

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:11 KJV

The Word of God must dominate our thought life or we will continually find ourselves falling short (sin) in our relationship with the Lord.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV

When His Word holds dominion in us we walk in harmony with God. Then, and only then, will we yield to His plan and purpose for our lives and enjoy the promise given to Jeremiah:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.  Proverbs 12:15 KJV

It’s amazing how many people are so locked in to what they think that they won’t even consider godly counsel.

God has given His immutable (unchangeable) Word (the Bible)  to mankind so that man can know the counsel of God and learn righteousness thereby.

To ignore the counsel of the wise is to fly headlong into the snare of the fowler (the devil).

Be yielded and teachable in the things of God. Beware of false prophets and those wise in their own eyes. The Bible is the final authority on all things.

Well-advised By pride and insolence comes only contention, but with the well-advised is skillful and godly Wisdom.

Those who are teachable and open to correction position themselves to walk in the wisdom of God. This wisdom from above brings supernatural ability. Those who are prideful, thinking they don’t need the advice of others stir up strife and division. Their end is destruction. “Pride goes before a fall.”

Anointed to Profit Thus saith the Lord , thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
God does not anoint His people to lose. He anoints them to win. The anointing teaches you to profit and adds no sorrow with it. It is profit that fuels church planting, church building, missions endeavor of all kinds, feeds and clothes the poor and cares for the widows. Be teachable and let God prosper you and lead you into your divine destiny.
